“I have given this everything I have. Nothing has changed. I don’t even know what to do anymore.”
Lean in. The Spirit of the Living God wants to whisper to you a truth. It will free you to press forward…with Him…
A power of supernatural proportions was released on this earth when Jesus rose from the dead. A flow began and, like a mighty earthly river, it has crushed hinderances and moved unmovable boulders. It is overwhelming and has changed all that was once before. Creation will never be the same. Child of God, be reminded, today, that the power of that flow is everything to you. Every difficulty you face is answered and overtaken by this river.
It is the river of God’s grace.
Grace originated with the love of God. It chases after holiness. It contains heaven’s atmosphere. Grace cascades over creation now with heaven’s realities and it easily overcomes earth’s difficulties. It surges with life…the God-life. It reflects His light everywhere it flows.
And it chases after believers in Jesus Christ, connecting life to LIFE.
Since the day we became believers in Jesus, God’s gift to mankind, this grace river sees us wrapped in Christ and His anointing (Ephesians 1:3). Grace recognizes the holiness of Jesus Christ on and in us. The magnetic attraction between holiness and grace is unstoppable.
Jesus made one perfect sacrifice and as a result we were made perfectly holy and complete for all time. Hebrews 10:14 TPT
The river of God’s powerful grace has been broken open to accomplish our complete infilling. His fullness now fills us. This was His delightful purpose from the beginning. This has brought joy to the heart of our Creator. An explosive, dancing joy! His grace river was made from the beginning, for us, so we could be filled with His purpose: Good, enjoyable, joyful, easy, effective, powerful purpose.
God said, “Let us make mankind in Our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move on the ground.” So God created mankind in His own image, and in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:26-27 NIV
He made us to be like Him. This is delightful to His heart. His grace contains the purity of His character and the authority of His power. It flowed to fill us.
On the dark day when Adam and Eve turned away from God and listened to the ruler of rebellion (the devil), they joined him against God. Sin displaced grace. Sin entered mankind (Genesis 3).
Sin became a growing obstacle to the grace river flowing from heaven to earth. Sin grew and grew and grew until it became a mountainous dam. Our deep desire and the essence of our soul, which wanted to be like God, moved us to want to surmount that dam and bathe in grace again. Our souls needed to be quenched by the cool water of God’s grace so we could function the way we were created. There were fragile paths up the sheer face of the dam where “holy people” could travel up and bring the people cups of grace to share. It did little to satisfy their thirst.
Our Father God had a plan. From His overwhelming love for us, He sent Jesus.
Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks this (earthly) water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13 NIV
Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, rivers of Living Water will flow from within them.” John 7:37 NIV
Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “All you thirsty ones, come to Me! Come to Me and drink! Believe in Me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you!” John 7:37 TPT
Jesus came to lay Himself across the mountain high dam of sin and replaced the dam with Himself.
For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we (who did not know righteousness) might become the righteousness of God through our union with Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 TPT
He absorbed the dam of sin in His body.
When it was time, He rose from that place, taking the dam away. The grace river of God began to powerfully flow again into believers in Jesus! His grace fulfills His perfect purpose in us again. His grace contains everything we need in every circumstance.
Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by His blood-the total cancellation of our sins- all because of the CASCADING RICHES OF HIS GRACE. This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us, releasing in us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding. Ephesians 1:7-8 TPT
Remember:
Grace originated with the love of God. It chases after holiness. It contains heaven’s atmosphere. Grace cascades over creation now with heaven’s realities and it easily overcomes earth’s difficulties. It surges with life…the God-life. It reflects His light everywhere it flows.
And it chases after believers in Jesus Christ, connecting life to LIFE.
Grace is much bigger than forgiveness of daily sins. It is much bigger than the kindness of God. It is the life of God made available to us.
It is the life-energy that makes it possible to live as a new creation in the Kingdom of God on this earth. It is the access we have to God’s ability in our inability. It flows in miracles. It satiates our soul and calms us in the chaos. It is perfect wisdom all around us and in us. We begin to float inside the voice of our Savior as He speaks, “This is the way!” His voice fills us when grace carries us along.
When the apostle Paul described to us a painful experience in his life, he told us when he prayed, God simply responded, “My grace, Paul, is all that is needed.” (2 Corinthians 12:9). The answer right now is to let go and get into an awareness of what surrounds you. Grace is active and solves problems. Allow it to operate.
Our own personal pride and feeble ability resists the power of grace; like a boulder you hang onto in the flowing river. Let go! Allow grace to do what it was made to do. Let God have His full pleasure in the unfolding of His perfect plan for you!
My weakness becomes a portal to God’s power. 2 Corinthians 12:10b TPT
Allow grace to accomplish the real work of God.
When the LOVE of God melted and poured over His creation a river of grace was released.
He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In LOVE He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ in accordance with His pleasure and will- to the THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORIOUS GRACE, which He has freely given to us in the One He loves. Ephesians 1:4-6 NIV
Jesus has crushed all the hinderances that stopped the flow of His river of grace.
Let’s pray together,
Father, thank you for Jesus Christ. Thank you for your perfect plan to release an overflow of Your grace through Jesus. I am allowing Your powerful grace to take over my life today. I am allowing Your grace to fill me and overflow out of the energy of my being. My words, my choices, my desires, my mind, my emotions, my body, my life is transformed by the reality of Your grace. I do not take it lightly. I don’t have the answers, but Your grace does.
I will let go. I let go of______________________.
I will experience You today.
In Jesus Mighty Name, we pray. Amen.
Until next time,
Praying for each of you.
