Brief Encouragement to Stay on Holy Ground

This moment in time is given to you, personally, as a blessing. Why am I so confident in the blessing being poured over you right now? The first chapter of Psalms tells me so.

Blessed is the one who loves God’s Ways! Psalm 1:1

Opening this short encouragement letter, the first of many for 2025, means your heart is listening.

Your yielded heart to God is the foundation to a life that is blessed.

Let’s begin with a deep breath. Rest your mind and be still. Instead of being carried along with the minutes, let’s stop and become aware of our heart. The heart is the place where we believe. What are you believing right now? What is fastened to your heart with belief?

Just before He went to the cross, Jesus prayed to the Father for “those who have fastened Your Word firmly to their heart” (John 17:6b TPT).

Where are the roots of your life? The roots are where we find stability, identity, and nourishment.

I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on earth. And I pray that He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.

Then by constantly using your faith (believing), the life of Christ will be released deep inside of you, and the resting place of His LOVE will become the very source and root of your life.” Ephesians 3:14-17 TPT

The source and root of your life is the living revelation that God loves you. His mercy is always flowing toward you when He is your anchor. His gentleness is experienced. His perfect care and personalized provision is without lack. His patience and kindness are strong and unwavering. His Words cleanse you and nourish you.

This is your year to clearly articulate, expertly operate, fully experience, and grow in understanding the LOVE of God toward you. It is time for a deeper root system.

That (blessed) person is like a tree planted by the streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers. Psalm 1:3

This root system goes in three directions to stabilize your tree of life.

The first direction is a revelation of God’s love for you. When you believed in Jesus Christ you were joined to God’s love eternally. You cannot make Him love you more or less. The second direction is a revelation of the gift of Christ’s righteousness. Read 2 Corinthians 5:21 and discover that Jesus gave you, as a gift, His right standing -you wear His covering of perfect purity, perfect forgiveness without payment, perfect cleansing in the sight of your Creator. This root holds you firm in a storm of the accuser’s lies. The third direction is a revelation of God’s protection and provision. He is your refuge and safety. He named Himself “The Lord will Provide” (Jehovah Jireh). You are anchored in the power of His name.

You are the one who determines the strength of your root system. Dig deeper into that good soil, well-watered with the Word of God. Roots that turn in on themselves make for an unstable tree destined for destruction.

Weak roots are subject to the wind.

Winds are circumstances and thoughts that try to exalt themselves above the knowledge of the love of God over you. Winds are guaranteed to come.

A strong root system holds the mature tree firmly in place right where it was planted.

This is a season of strengthening and we do that by developing our “knowing”. Knowing Jesus more intimately—He is the perfect image of the Father. Knowing He is Lord of your life. Knowing His voice and His heart. Knowing the Truth. Knowing what He says about you so no accusing wind can damage you. Be still and know.

Remember:

You are a tree planted by the Lord for His glory. Isaiah 61:3b

You are blessed to grow and make shade for the birds of the earth. Matt 3:31-32

The Holy Spirit is leading you to rest in the comfort of His love. He is nourishing you with His presence and guiding you to grow in Truth.

You are a filled with the blessing.
